I love that skirt you're working on - you'll make your deadline - just keep knitting! Can't wait to see the finished product.

And very glad your sweet dog is doing well after surgery. What a cutie!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3400104312945725395.post-85995449350839030412010-07-29T08:55:03.949-05:002010-07-29T08:55:03.949-05:00I didn't know that you knitted either!!! How ...I didn't know that you knitted either!!! How cool to have more knitting friends! Congrats on your new sweater...they are addicting, by the way. I've been knitting less than a year, and I love it. I haven't been to Stitches, but would like to. Of course there are very few knitting events here in Texas. I was talking to my knitting instructor/friend and told her we needed to start something like that down here. I have a knitting group that meets every other Thursday so it is fun to at least to get together with a group of knitters occasionally. I have also been spending way too much money on yarn! Are you on Ravelry.com? If not, you should set up an account. If you are let me know what your name is so I can put you down on my friends list. I am "fabfemme". I hope knitting is keeping you sane while you are dealing with your illness. I find it is a great escape.

Eddy is doing great! I am so amazed at how well he is recovering. We take him in on Monday to have the stitches removed and get an update from the vet and any other treatments he may need. I will definitely look into acupuncture.

You take care of yourself and Michael. We are thinking about you both and missing y'all terribly!Kelly B.https://www.blogger.com/profile/12765719929373010830noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3400104312945725395.post-57693304566872010392010-07-29T00:14:38.653-05:002010-07-29T00:14:38.653-05:00Kelly I had no idea you were a knitter. Michael gets hats, he loves the cozy hats. I am a yarn snob though, I have spent way too much $ on yarn and I'm not allowing myself to buy anything new until I have completed several projects. My next project is a cable sweater. Have you been to Stitches? I go ever year, it's fabulous for classes, yarn and people who knit watching. Everyone wears their favorite peices and you get lots of inspiration. I have been dreaming of opening a yarn, knitting shop since my health issue came up. It would be such a wonderful change from working in the jail.
I'm very relieved to hear the dogs are all as well as can be. I recommend acupuncture for both of them. It's most excellent for the liver and boosts the immune system. Chiroractor for the back problems. Dogs respond very well to both modalities. Sending lots of good energy to your pups.Toto girlnoreply@blogger.com
